Continuing the birthday celebrations with testing on Saturday and race day on Sunday for @club100racing at @pfikarting. Testing was tough in wet conditions but race day was dry. Struggling for a bit of pace was bad enough, but wiped out by the same driver early in both races at the same corner was really frustrating, no penalties either. #kartracing #karting #motorsport #club100 #pfikarting

The birthday weekend started with a kids karting club at @knockhillracingcircuit , starting 2nd seemed like a great draw until he realised it meant being in kart 7. Despite that he got quickly into thr lead and built up a decent lead, despite the times not being great, but then as the drivers behind sorted themselves out another driver chased him down and passed him. Still p2 in a bad kart wasn't too bad. #kartracing #motorsport #karting #knockhill

First monday night overtakes for a while at @teamsportkarting. Some nice moves and some questionable ones too!

A return to @gygkarting in beautiful North Wales for round 5 of the @club100racing northern junior superlightweight championship. A promising practice sessions showed a 1.2 second improvement from his last time here. But a disaster in qualifying left him starting last in the pre b final. A reasonable first race gave him a 7 place improvement to 22nd. The b final was where it all came together and he moved from 20th up to 10th for his best result of the season. A really positive end to the day!

My @club100racing race at @cumbriakartracing was ended early on the 2nd lap when I was collected in this incident. Damage to the kart meant I was unable to continue, but luckily I escaped any damage to myself!

A better night, qualified 4th for the b-final. A black flag for the leader and an early overtakes got him up to 2nd early. Spent a few laps defending the karts behind whilst losing touch with the leader before eventually breaking clear. Was closing in on the leader for the remainder of the race but ran out of time to catch him.

2nd round of kids karting club at @knockhillracingcircuit saw Josh line up alongside fellow @club100racing racer, Isaac Tomlinson. He knew it would be a tough battle and so it proved with Isaacs experience allowing him to win by about 11 seconds. Not as close as we'd hoped but Isaac did lap everyone else! #kartracing #motorsport #knockhill #karting
